EXP 2 - Life after people - Week 8

Barcelona Pavillion - Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe

Designed by one of the leading pioneers of modernism in architecture, this building has been one of his finest works and is still studied in depth as part of modern architecture. Consisting materials of steel columns and mullions, marble blade walls, glass, and concrete.

Rudin House - Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron

Original function as an art gallery, typical in the exterior view resembling usual cottage house except designed by prized architects. Mainly constructed of concrete and what seems to be wooden mullions and slate roof.
From just basic knowledge i would assume that the lower ground floor would just be covered in soil.

House in Bordeaux - Rem Koolhass

Designed for disabled man and wife, its primary function of facilitating the needs the man with two wheels, what a paradise. The house seems elevated and heavy, mainly consisting of steel, glass and concrete. I would assume that the paint would rust, corrosion occurs and being such a large building with only a simple support system bearing weight it almost seems like it would collapse depending on years, this includes all the mention buildings.

more research?

Testing of importing 3DS Max model along with custom materials, could not get one material working.
